Residential Grade Door

The Residential Door is the best residential security and safety door on the market for your residence. We started with UL-rated ballistic panels. This product has been engineered for over 12 years to do what no one else has been able to do. We designed the lock as a more efficient and stronger version of our old lock (which was too labor-intensive to manufacture and install at an acceptable price point) and built the door around it. We explored hundreds of different materials. We build for strength, fire resistance, ballistic capabilities, weight, impact protection, safety, and security. Lastly, we need the ability to manufacture this door at a price that is more cost-effective than our competition.

Residential Door Construction

This safety door is designed for the maximum amount of personal protection most families need in their residential home without the costs of additional compliances with building codes. It can be used as a bedroom door, closet door, bathroom door, or personal saferoom door.

Three Locks to Choose From

Mortise/ADA Lock

How it Works – This lock is for commercial uses where ADA compliance is required.  The Mortise/ADA Lock is engaged by the user turning the deadbolt knob 30 degree or key to lock.  To retract the lock the user has three options: thumb turn, key, or interior lever.

Used For – Classrooms, commercial spaces, institutions (ADA compliant lock)

Vault Lock

How it Works – The Vault Lock is our most popular lock for personal use.   Using the cylinder/key and thumb turn, the deadbolt can be thrown or retracted.  Key outside, thumb turn inside.  A separate knob or lever set makes for easy everyday use when there is no need to engage the safety rods.

Used For – Saferooms, closets, bedrooms, offices, owners’ closets

Citadel Lock

How it Works – The Citadel Lock is the strongest and easiest to use lock that we manufacture. This is a personal safety-only lock.  Someone on the inside of the door is the only person that can lock and unlock the system, which means that there is no lock exposed on the exterior of the door to pick.

Used For – where persons need to be protected, or a multiple door room
